Portraits from a Land Without People - Limited Edition

$2,000.00
Only 5 available

LIMITED EDITION BOXED SET

This beautifully crafted limited edition boxed set comes with three original prints with inset Portraits of a Land Without People book numbered 1-100 signed by Jimmy Little and the author. The prints (30.5 x 40.6cm) are as follows:

(1) Wik Elder, Gladys, 2000. Photograph by Ricky Maynard (signed).

(2) Australienation, Central Australia, Northern Territory, 1984.

Photograph by John Ogden (signed).

(3) Three Worora girls, photographer unknown. Supplied by Western Australian Museum (not signed).

The book has an authenticity that dwarfs most attempts in film, television and print to tell the Aboriginal story of the last two centuries … It is a raw story. It stands on its own and yet pays its respect to so many others who looked through a lens along this long road.

– Jeff McMullen AM

I think this is a magnificent book …as important a book as anything that’s been published in Australia for years.

– Phillip Adams AO

Please note GST for Australian orders and shipping will be added at checkout.
